SUMMER SCIENCE CAMP (AGES 7 TO 17)

Located on the Polytechnique Montréal campus, this summer science camp provides young people aged 7 to 17 with the opportunity to explore the worlds of science, mathematics, engineering and technology through creative, fun and innovative activities.

Throughout the week, campers will be given the chance to take part in many activities, watch astonishing demonstrations, and carry out a major project on the theme of their choice. Campers will also be able to impress parents and friends with their scientific and creative genius at the end-of-camp show every Friday.

A typical day

Camp is in session from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday. Campers stretch their legs outside for an hour after lunch. Please note that welcome monitors are on site from 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Before 8 a.m., nobody is present on the camp site, and after 5:30, supplementary childcare fees are charged to latecomers.

Payment methods

All payments must be made by cash, by credit card through the registration website Amilia, or by cheque made out to Folie Technique. For the last option, please write your child’s name on the cheque and either mail it to the following address or bring it directly to the Folie Technique office (C-237.1). The confirmation of your child’s registration will be sent by e-mail. To guarantee your spot, payment must be made before June 15th.

Cancellation and refund

Folie Technique will apply an additional 15 % fee to all cancellations pre-dating June 2nd and an additional 30 % fee to those post-dating June 1st. The fee will be applied to the total amount of the cancellation. Please note that no refund will be granted less than 7 days before the first day of the week your child is registered in. In addition, only a member of the camp management is authorized to make the cancellation and refund.

Meal service

For lunch and snacks, a cafeteria service is available at a cost of $10 a day or 50$ per week. The cafeteria meal includes two snacks a day and a full meal at lunch hour (beverage, soup, bread, main course and dessert). Otherwise, your child should bring a boxed lunch. Please include an ice pack to keep your child’s meal cool. Microwaves are available for them to reheat their food.
